I'd actually go with a lightly bluish or even violet filter to get some contrast into the green hull.Moiterei_1984https://www.blogger.com/profile/13808567081733803572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-44753841862524811542017-07-19T13:15:32.495+08:002017-07-19T13:15:32.495+08:00Thank you so very much! :)Thank you so very much! :)FourEyedMonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18161202517627920103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-90021779448955180602017-07-19T13:14:36.220+08:002017-07-19T13:14:36.220+08:00I'm really glad this mini-tutorial can help yo...I'm really glad this mini-tutorial can help you in any way. But bear in mind this weathering process is barely 40% of the way in so there is lots more to go before it starts looking truly realistic. :)FourEyedMonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18161202517627920103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-24399676609895635552017-07-19T13:13:13.397+08:002017-07-19T13:13:13.397+08:00Ha ha ha ... ^_^ ... you're are very very kind...Ha ha ha ... ^_^ ... you're are very very kind to say so, thank you!FourEyedMonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18161202517627920103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-20568163567364373412017-07-19T13:12:47.701+08:002017-07-19T13:12:47.701+08:00Thank you Michael! You are absolutely right - filters can work wonders on monotone subjects. I was indeed thinking of applying some greyish-green filters on certain parts of the vehicle but haven't decided for sure yet. It will likely be limited in scale as there is already a lot going on for the hull. I guess I'll have to play it by ear.FourEyedMonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18161202517627920103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-9204406306909719162017-07-19T13:06:11.789+08:002017-07-19T13:06:11.789+08:00Thank you, I was hoping that it would :) Thank you, I was hoping that it would :) FourEyedMonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18161202517627920103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-23296260297213969952017-07-17T02:14:23.939+08:002017-07-17T02:14:23.939+08:00The weathering and rusted metal painting is simply...The weathering and rusted metal painting is simply superb. :)pulpcitizenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10827978428130531133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-73159319517458903072017-07-15T20:38:36.964+08:002017-07-15T20:38:36.964+08:00I'm seriously noting this down. Granted, not everyone likes their effects but imho the subtle variation they create can make for an interesting effect.Moiterei_1984https://www.blogger.com/profile/13808567081733803572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509003442852854674.post-5126326492016180432017-07-14T12:17:29.662+08:002017-07-14T12:17:29.662+08:00Thanks a lot for the tutorial, the rust looks very...Thanks a lot for the tutorial, the rust looks very much as it should in real life.Wouterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17271989973988511989noreply@blogger.com
